In a world where virtual events are beyond a norm now - it was such a warming experience to be invited to speak at EJC’s summit. I feel like my career path has been pushed to further lengths of not just reporting on the news - but actually focusing on the communities within newsrooms who we’re not hearing from or seeing enough too. Justice in journalism was a great heading to describe the panel discussions. The world is facing so much injustice, and having these transparent conversations helps to bring it to the forefront - and hold those at the top more accountable
