Biography
Marieke Reimann (33) is the Editor-in-Chief of ze.tt, ZEIT's online magazine for people between 16 and 35 years. With "ze.tt gr.een" she developed a new type of paid content community model in the beginning of 2020.
In 2015 she was awarded one of the “Top 30 under 30” journalists in Germany, and became Germany's youngest Editor-in Chief at the age of 29 in 2017. Her job focuses on East Germany, diversity and inclusive language.
Reimann was born in Rostock, did her Bachelor in Applied Media Science at TU Ilmenau and her Master in Journalism at LMU München and the German School of Journalism in Munich. In 2012 she started working as a freelance sports journalist in Malta. She worked for Süddeutsche Zeitung, Focus Online, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, 11 Freunde and others.
